DISCLOSE Act Fails in Senate |
|
Democrat leaders in the U.S. Senate failed Tuesday afternoon to overcome a Republican filibuster on a campaign finance disclosure bill that critics say threatens the ability of grassroots political organizations, and the pro-life movement, to communicate effectively with voters during election cycles.

Summit912 is pleased to announce the Summit Tea Party on the Cuyahoga Falls! Come one, come all to the Cuyahoga Falls River Front Amphitheater to let your voice be heard, on Saturday, September 18th from 2pm to 6pm. Speak out against out of control Government Spending, Taxation and Encroachment on Your Rights!

People from all across this great land are gathering to hear the message of our nation's founding principals. Hundreds of thousands have gathered to speak out against an out of control government that is ripping apart the very fabric of their country. Your chance is coming to Stand Up with them! Join with us, as average folks, just like you, meet to together to learn, network, protest and celebrate!
The Akron Tea Party is not about political views, there will be no Left or Right, just right or wrong. While some speakers may either hold or seek office, there will be no campaigning, or use of those nasty "R" and "D" names. Each speaker feels passionately about their cause and is there to help you understand the issues of today. They will stand before you as fellow citizens to share the truth about these issues and show you how to get involved. Topics being discussed include over taxation, nationalized health care, cap and trade, and your rights.
While some of these topics seem lofty and complex, they will be presented in a simple format of short addresses along with messages of hope and patriotism. This powerful event will enlighten and inspire, make you laugh and maybe even shed a prideful tear.
This will be a family event! A gathering of people of all ages, from all walks of life, all political affiliations with a common understanding; we are all Americans, and it is "We the People" who hold the keys to it's bright and fruitful future.

Today is my Birthday, June 10th, 2010. It is also the day that I had to renew my Vehicle Registration. I went to the Massillon, Ohio BMV this morning and signed the form asnd stamped it "RESERVING MY RIGHTS". Gave the Clerk the check for $54.50 and was told I couldn't stamp the form with Reserving my Rights. I had to Sign only. I asked what Rights I was waiving. I was told by the Clerk, "I am only doing my job." They came out with a form of State Law saying I can't Reserve my Rights. So, The Big Question, "What Rights are we Waiving." They will not explain it. Wrote to Division of Motor Vehicle, Ohio Secretary of State and Ohio Attorney General. Still waiting for a reply. So ask yourself and Them next time you have to Sign a Government Form, and want to "Reserve your Rights," what Rights do you want me to waive.

Ohio Republican Party “Misconduct” |
|

Throughout the state Tea Partiers are up in arms about the Ohio Republican Party violating its own rules and potentially election laws, in order to promote its own preferred candidates for State Central Committee. The Party is reputedly spending $330,000 to defeat Tea Partiers who are running for State Central Committee. Jim Woods Medina County Friends And Neighbors (MCFAN) founder commented “I’ve been involved in party politics since I volunteered to be a Ronald Reagan precinct leader in 1976. This is the first time I’ve seen the Party spend money to purposely remain closed, exclusive, and unresponsive to the conservative majority.”

Akron Tea Party Endorses Candidates |
|
Akron, OH, April 26, 2010—To educate and inform its members and the general public, the non-partisan Akron Tea Party organization has been interviewing (vetting) candidates for state and national office. The vettings (including thirteen candidates) began in January and concluded this past Saturday.
Saturday morning meetings averaged 40-50 members. Candidates were each questioned for 1 ½ hours, receiving questions on a multitude of topics, from moderators Karl Harsney and Art Drentlau as well as members of the audience. Members of the audience numerically evaluated the candidates in the areas (1) Issue Knowledge, (2) Speaking Ability, (3) Candidate Trust, and (4) Overall Impression. Based on the candidates’ scores, endorsements were determined by the Vetting Committee members.
Of the thirteen numerically scored candidates, eight have received the endorsement of the Akron Tea Party organization.

Declaration of Independence - A look at the meaning! |
|
The following web link will give everyone the idea of what I have been saying all along. We are divided as a nation, a people, and a country because we have forgotten simple truths as self-evident. The Constitution and Bill of Rights are just limitations on Government, even within the States. The Declaration of Independence holds the key that no one wants to see. Our Courts, our politicians, and everyone else are demanding things that don't exist.
