The night before Thanksgiving
 
And, I know, I am not alone.
 
I have been among you since the beginning. I was there the first
night in Fairlawn. I have read every one of your blogs and emails
since. I have been at every event, if not in person, at least
listening, or in spirit.

Tomorrow I will listen, as some will pronounce, with assurance:
 
Eating meat is bad.
Christmas is a pagan holiday.
I lived in Europe and socialism is good.
Abortion is only a man imposing his will over women.
“Go Obama Go”
American values and conservatives are evil.
AND
“There is no GOD. “
 
At this point, you should ask, why do you not step up and say
something. The answer is simple. I will and I have. And, the
conversation ends with “You need to stop spending time helping those who
are Tea party goers because, “No one cares!”
 
And “You are a raciest.”
 
That came from my wife, in front of my sons.
 
So set a place at your table for me. I am with you in spirit. For
tomorrow I will fire my most dangerous weapons again; facts, truth and
what YOU believe is sacred.
 
And, if and when, the time comes, I will be there with you, with my
life in His hands to defend, THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.
