Time to resign from Political Service |

Below is what I wrote to senator Sherrod Brown and Senator Voinovich: The Elected Representatives of this Country are so narrow minded that they have forgotten their place and role within Government. You do not have Unlimited Powers to do whatever you want. Government was not created for your pleasure. "Public offices were [not] made for private convenience." --Thomas Jefferson to the Duchesse d'Auville, 1790. ME 8:16 Nor are you nor anyone else in Government to interpret our Rights and our Constitution to rip it to shreds.

This past Thursday 13 American Soldiers were killed and another 30 wounded at a horrific mass shooting at US Army installation, Ft Hood Texas. As I watched in horror and then anger I recalled my two years of final service in the Army as a Battalion Commander at Ft Hood, 2002-2004.

Being a U.S. Navy Veteran, I anticipated attending a Veterans’ Day Ceremony at the University of Akron’s Martin University Center on November 11th. I had never attended one and thought it was quite nice for the University to host this as an annual event, complete with a continental breakfast for veterans representing the past and present, as well as the ROTC students that represent our future. It was a beautiful ceremony, conducted with precision and formality that reflects the true professionalism and classiness of the University of Akron, its staff and especially those staff who are veterans.

‘Tis a Socialist Christmas |
|
‘Tis the year of Obama, and all through the land, We’re celebrating “the holiday” (saying “Christmas” is banned). I put the last of our coins inside an old stocking, It was all we had left, our possessions we’d been hocking.

Friends and fellow Americans,
Can you imagine a public school system in which the concept of God was not banned? Can you imagine a public school system in which Christianity was openly accepted? Can you imagine a public school system in which Jesus Christ was warmly welcomed? Can you imagine a public school system in which the school principal spoke of Christian holidays without legal assaults on him and his school? Can you imagine that this could all be going on under your nose… and to you, and all, it would appear normal, acceptable, and appropriate?
