I write the following is in hopes it may bring our situation into clearer perspective! I know I refer to Hungary many times as an example because I grew up there, because of its history, it is a good reference point for me, especially these days when I see so many parallels between the then and there, and the here and now. History does repeat itself; we tend to walk in the comfortable, familiar footsteps of those before us.

I just recently became strongly involved in politics, probably in the past couple of years. During the last Presidential election campaign, my son and I both read, researched, and discussed the candidates and what they stood for prior to the election as I wanted him to see how the election process worked since he would soon become eligible to vote (he turned 18 this past January). He was amazed and somewhat disheartened at some of the things he learned. However, we BOTH decided that Senator McCain was the better (but not best) candidate and we BOTH decided that Senator McCain would be our choice and would be the person for whom I would vote. We attended the McCain/Palin event at Green High School, we donated money to their campaign, and promoted them as best we could.

The Founding Father’s Political Vision |

“The Utopian schemes of leveling (re-distribution of the wealth) and a community of goods (central ownership of the means of production and distribution), are as visionary and impractical as those which vest all property in the Crown” said Samuel Adams.

Letter to the Editor - Kevin O'Brien |

Kevin O'Brien Deputy Editorial Page Editor Plain Dealer
Yours is a write that the angry mob of the USA has been anxiously awaiting for months. Ever since June 24, when ABC News exclusively broadcast "Prescription for America" on nationalized health care from the White House, we have been waiting for the MSM to stand up, speak up, or stand down against the tactics the O Administration has been using to stifle and control all dissention of its agenda.

How do you get to Blunderland? Alicia follows the white rabbit down his dark rabbit hole which is lined with curious objects, like Saul Alinsky’s book, Rules for Radicals, and the Communist Manifesto. She then enters the hallway of the Capital building and Townhall meetings, which is lined with locked doors. After drinking the Kool-Aid in the bottle by the door, she then enters a doorway. There she encounters a sordid cast of power mongering characters.

The following is a "Letter to the Editor" I sent today to our local papers. Little chance it will be seen in print form. The Sun News may print, they have printed mine before. It comes from a frustration of the biased reporting on critical issues. Not everyone watches Fox News, or keeps up with conservative thought. You sure won't find mention of those with conservative ideals reported in the Big Media other than in derision.
